This is part 2 of the discussion on “mindfulness”. Mindfulness is when a person is being aware of their senses in the present moment which includes the five senses as well as any internal senses that one is feeling. There is no stress in the present moment. When a person connects a thought with a threat in the context of the past orĀ future, anxiety and stress will be the response and the physical body will respond to that condition. Practicing mindfulness will assist in detaching from thoughts that are connected to a threat and peace will be the result.
